The exhibition was organized by initiative of Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Geydar Aliev under the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan at assistance of National Institute of Art and Design named of Kamoliddin Bekhzod and Azerbaijan state art gallery.
The event was aimed at expanding cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan and promoting common values of people, and showcasing role historic Silk Road in life of people of two states.
Over 80 works of Sattar Bahlulzade, Maral Rakhmanzade, Togrul Narimanbekov, Artegin Salamzade, Elbek Rzakuliev, Gusein Hagverdiev (all from Azerbaijan) and Akmal Nuriddinov, Sobir Rakhmatov, Javlon Umarbekov, Bakhodir Jalalov (all from Uzbekistan) and other painters.
The exhibition attracted interests of the guests and citizens of Tashkent city. It was underlined that the event will help to promote friendly relations between two nations.
