Tashkent hosts concert of Great Symphony Orchestra named after Tchaikovsky
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Academic Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi hosted a concert of Great Symphony Orchestra named after Tchaikovsky under the leadership of the outstanding conductor Vladimir Fedoseyev.

Russian oil company LUKOIL organized the concert for Uzbek fans of the classical music.

During the evening, fragments of such immortal musical pieces as "La Traviata" by G. Verdi, "The Barber of Seville" by J. Rossini, "Iolanta" by Tchaikovsky, "Ruslan and Lyudmila" by M. Glinka, "Pearl Seekers" by J. Bizet and others were presented to attendees.

The arias were performed by the leading soloist of the Novaya Opera theater Vasily Laduk (baritone) and the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Ramiz Usmanov (tenor).

At the opening of the concert the guests were greeted by Vice-President of PJSC "LUKOIL" Sergey Nikiforov, First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov and Chief Conductor of the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra. PI Tchaikovsky Vladimir Fedoseev.

On 19 April, LUKOIL will present another concert to the Tashkent public with the participation of the leading soloist of the Novaya Opera theater Vasily Laduk (baritone) and the opera singer Alexey Tatarintsev, accompanied by the ensemble "Creative Commonwealth of Musicians" directed by Alexander Pokidchenko.

During the concert, the famous opera arias and favorite songs of M. Magomayev, A. Pakhmutova, A. Babajanyan will be performed.
