The "Belarus2007" Second National Fair started on 3 October and will last until 5 October at Intercontinental Hotel in Tashkent.

Trade Ministry of the Republic of Belarus with participation of BelEexpo National Exhibition Center, Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Tashkent jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan organized the fair.

More than 50 Belarusian production companies and agencies, in particular, Ministry of Industry, Agriculture and Food, concerns Belneftehim, Belbiofarm, Bellesbumprom, Belgospisheprom, Belaz and others due to participate in the fair.

According to the Belarus statistics, the trade between the two countries for over the January through July this year has accounted for US$61 million.

The structure of the Uzbek exports to Belarus make up the machinery goods and automobiles, cotton yarn, cotton fiber, fruits and vegetables.

Belarus exports to Uzbekistan high-tech equipments, net share of which account for the transports, goods from wood, chemical products, electrical and mechanical machines.

The organizers of the fair express the confidence that the scheduled event will promote the further development of the mutual beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
