Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent hosted the 1st Asian Open Championship in the sports version of the game "Zakovat".

The total prize fund of the tournament amounted to 200 million soums.

55 teams from 14 countries of the world took part in the championship: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, UAE, Denmark, Israel, Latvia, Germany, Cyprus. Among the players are world champions, national championships and prize-winners of prestigious international tournaments, recognized masters of intellectual games and rising stars.

The Asian Open Championship in the game “Zakovat” is a logical continuation of the Central Asian Cup in this game, which took place in September 2022 and became one of the highlights of the intellectual movement both in our country and in the region.

"Zakovat" was full of emotions. For the participants, the score was in seconds. As a result of a tense game, the following winners were determined:

1st place - GG team, Uzbekistan-Armenia-Kazakhstan team (prize of 100 million soums);

2nd place - a team from Russia "Bor shipbuilder" (60 million soums);

3rd place - Basenji, the national team of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan (40 million soums).

Also, within the framework of the Asian Open Championship, the Brain Ring tournament was held. The champion of Uzbekistan in Zakovat, the Mystery team and the Basenji team, who fought for the Cup, reached the final.
