The World Postal Union in cooperation with Regional Commonwealth of Communication (RCC) organized the event. It was organized for specialists of RCC.

Specialists of Communication Administrations and Postal Operators from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldavia, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of RCC Executive Community and other participated at the event.

Representatives of the UzACI, Uzbekistan Pochtasi, UNICON.UZ and customs service of Boshpochtamt participated at the event from Uzbekistan, UzACI reported.

Participants considered issues of interaction of postal service and customs bodies in context of new normative regulation for postal exchange and electronic customs procedures.

They also discussed issues of studying new modernized customs code of the European Union, new procedures and methods in exchange of electronic data in customs.

Participants exchanged opinion on preliminary declaration of postal correspondences, ensuring high quality of transferred data and legal protection, including fighting pirated and counterfeited products.
