Tashkent governor approves rules of holding weddings and festivities
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Governor of Tashkent city approved rules of holding weddings, family festivities, funeral rites and other events at wedding halls, restaurants and cafes of the Uzbek capital, information service of the Uzbek capital administration said.

The document sets rules of organization of weddings, festivities, funeral rites and other events in Tashkent city.

The information service said that the rules will regulate events with participation of 100 and over people, which are organized by legal entities and individuals in wedding halls, restaurants and cafes.

According to the statement, new rules will not be extended to events, which are organized by the state bodies.

In line with new rules, the events can be organized from 07:00 to 09:00, from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 23:00. After 23:00, it is prohibited to continue events.

Religious lectures can be organized only with participation of religious organizations, registered at justice bodies, religious educational institutions, imam-hatibs and naib-imams of mosques. Other people cannot read religious lectures.

According to rules, legal entities and individuals should provide copies of licenses to administration of premises, if the event includes licensed services. New rules ban singers to participate in the events without license.

The organizer of the event should sign agreements with license, which provide voice support services, design services, photo and video services, transport and other services. Singers should be attracted to the events with agreements.
