Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks in Tashkent with Senator, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

As Saidov noted on his Telegram channel, the upcoming visit of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Uzbekistan will mark an important step in strengthening bilateral ties.

"Our discussions reflected the deeply rooted friendship and growing cooperation between our countries," the Uzbek foreign minister emphasized.

The parties explored prospects for expanding cooperation in trade, investment, transport connectivity, and regional development, reaffirming their commitment to further engagement for shared prosperity.

"We highly appreciate the ideas and dedication to strengthening our bilateral relations," Saidov added.
