Economy 05/07/2007 Tashkent Aircraft Plant to assemble two Il-76MFs for Russia

The Ilyushin Aviation Complex and the Chkalov Aviation Production Association (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) have signed a contract to construct two Il-76MF planes, GAZETA.RU reported.

Under the contract, the Tashkent plant will assemble the planes to ILYUSHIN DESIGN BUREAU specifications. The two planes will be delivered to the Jordanian Air Force. The contract is worth $100m.
