Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Berlin (Germany), within the framework of Green week 2023, a meeting was held between the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov and the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey Vahid Kirishchi.

The following topics were discussed at the meeting:

Development of cooperation with the General Directorate of Agricultural Scientific and Political Research Tagem;

Studying the Turkish Tarsim system for the introduction of insurance in agriculture in Uzbekistan;

Activation of cooperation and implementation of projects with the Turkish Coordinating Agency (TIKA) on the creation of family cooperatives for poultry farming, beekeeping, as well as the production of fodder seeds;

Development of pistachio production in Uzbekistan.
