Tamila Sarykhanova became the first in the history of Uzbek boxing to receive the title of supervisor

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistani Tamila Sarikhanova became the first international technical official (ITO) and technical delegate (TD) of the IBA in boxing. In the world of international sports, there are many different official positions and positions, among which, unfortunately, there are still very few of our compatriots.

Despite the fact that boxing in Uzbekistan has been one of the leaders in world boxing for a number of years, the list of officials from Uzbekistan is still very small.

It is all the more gratifying that the representative of Uzbekistan, Tamila Sarykhanova, was the first in the history of Uzbek boxing to receive the title of supervisor.

The boxing supervisor, or as it is officially called - the Technical Delegate, is the main and key figure in holding a boxing competition of any level and is responsible for absolutely all issues of holding a sporting event, and on which all final and important decisions depend.

In boxing, there are three official ranks: RJ - Judges and Referees, ITO - International Technical Officials and TD - Technical Delegate as the highest rank.

Despite the fact that Tamila Sarykhanova is relatively new to the world of Olympic boxing, she has gained authority and recognition from her colleagues. So, at the next IBA congress, Tamila Sarykhanova was elected Vice-Chairman of the committee for work with National Federations, and the Asian Boxing Confederation elected her a member of the women’s commission.

Thus, to date, she is the most involved international official in international boxing from Uzbekistan, and the only girl representing Uzbekistan in the international boxing arena.
