Tajikistan to pay off debt to Uzbekistan by 2015
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Tajikistan plans to pay off its debt to Uzbekistan by the end of 2015, the Tajik media reported quoting Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan.
The reports said that Tajikistan’s debt to Uzbekistan declined from US$8.03 million to US$2.99 million during the first half of this year.
According to the reports, Tajikistan paid US$5.04 million of main debt and US$30,000 interests to Uzbekistan in the first six months of 2015.
