Tajik-Uzbek talks under way on resuming flights

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Tajik airmen left for Tashkent on 4 March to discuss issues of resuming flights between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan with their Uzbek colleagues.

The press secretary of the Tajik airline Tajik Air, Nazira Davlatova, told Asia-Plus that the leadership of the Uzbek airline proposed the leadership of the Tajik airline to take part in talks on the issue of [resuming] flights between the two countries.

Nazira Davlatova said that results of the visit would be reported soon.

Flights between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan were suspended in 1992.
