Syrdarya region’s businesses get loans for 3.7bn soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Small businesses of Syrdarya region received preferential loans for over 3.7 billion soums to launch own business and purchase of equipment in nine months of 2009.

About 98.5% of issued loans were directed due to own resources of the bank and 64.8% of them were long-term loans. The businesses created 3,880 workplaces.

The Uzbek President’s decree allowed commercial bank to centralize their income to special funds and they refinanced 16 projects for 613.9 million soums in the region.
