Syrdarya Region and Chinese Firms Discuss Pharma Investment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The governor of Uzbekistan’s Syrdarya region, Erkinjon Turdimov, held talks in China with representatives of Guangzhou Shennong Advanced Agriculture Group Corporation and Boshen Group, according to post-meeting information.

During the discussions, the parties focused on the development of the pharmaceutical sector in Syrdarya region, the launch of modern production facilities, investment attraction, and the creation of a major logistics center in Syrdarya district.

The participants also reviewed proposals for phased project implementation, job creation, improvement of product storage systems, and strengthening the region’s export potential.

Following the talks, both sides agreed to continue cooperation and further develop a number of joint projects in the near future.
