Synergy to open a network of digital professions colleges in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Synergy University plans to create a network of digital professions colleges in Uzbekistan. The first educational institution with the possibility of full-time and online training will be opened in Namangan, said Alikhan Khashiev, vice-president of the Synergy Corporation.

The delegation of Synergy University presented the digital college project to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The President noted the importance of IT education in the country and instructed the relevant departments to assist in the implementation of similar projects in various regions.

More detailed information about the project was presented to the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov and the Minister of Information Technologies Sherzod Shermatov. The latter promised to support Synergy in obtaining resident status of the IT park in Namangan.

“We are planning to launch the first college of digital professions in Namangan. By joint efforts with representatives of the authorities of Uzbekistan, we will be able to attract applicants not only from within the country, but also beyond its borders,” noted Alikhan Khashiev.

During a working trip, representatives of Synergy discussed with the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov, the possibility of launching double degree programs with local colleges.

Colleges of digital professions are a network project of Synergy to create modern educational institutions in Russian regions and abroad. They offer secondary and additional vocational education in the field of IT and digital technologies.

Training is available in full-time and part-time forms, as well as in the format of professional retraining for adults using distance learning technologies.
