Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Switzerland won an opening match of Group A of Euro 2024, beating Hungary with a score of 3:1.

In the 13th minute, Swiss forward Kwadwo Duah opened the scoring in the game. Midfielder Michel Aebischer doubled his team's lead in the 45th minute.

In the 66th minute, Hungarian striker Barnabas Varga reduced the gap. However, in the 90+3rd minute, Swiss midfielder Breel Embolo scored the third goal of Switzerland.

Group A also features Germany and Scotland. In the opening match of the Euro 2024, Germany beat Scotland with a score of 5:1.
