Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Delegations from several Swedish charitable organizations working in the field of social inclusion, including MISA, Wilja Gruppen AB, and the RAOUL Charity Foundation, are currently visiting Uzbekistan, according to the Dunyo News Agency.

As part of their visit, the delegations held a series of meetings with the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of Uzbekistan, as well as with a number of public and private institutions involved in social inclusion initiatives. The talks focused on exploring prospects for future cooperation.

One of the central topics discussed at the Center for Community Empowerment and Social Wellbeing was Sweden’s experience in training social workers who assist people with disabilities, alongside issues related to professional development and the implementation of support services.

In addition, representatives of the Swedish charitable organizations took part in the “Inson Uchun” trade fair featuring products by Uzbek manufacturers, as well as a business forum dedicated to promoting inclusivity.
