Svetlana Radzivil and Nadia Dusanova win medals in Europe

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Svetlana Radzivil, member of the national team of Uzbekistan in athletics, continues her triumphant march in European sports arenas. Our compatriot this time became the winner in high jumps in the tournament in the city of Mongeron, France.

At the stadium “Pierre de Coubertin” Svetlana Radzivil showed a result of 1.91 meters. In these competitions in the high jump took part, and our other athlete - Nadia Dusanova. She broke the bar at a height of 1.89 meters and was awarded a bronze medal. As previously reported, in competitions in Poland, she had enough of a jump from the first attempt at 1.86 meters to win a gold medal.

It should be noted that in this form of athletics the standard for participation in the Tokyo Olympics is 1.96 meters. Past competitions show that our athletes improve their results from tournament to tournament. At the stadium “Pierre de Coubertin” silver medal went to Estonian Grete Udras. She, like Dusanova, showed a result of 1.89 meters, but with less attempt.
