Summer Course for Regional Teachers at WIUT
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
One of the priority missions of WIUT is to explore the opportunities of regional growth and partnership with the representatives of regional lyceums and colleges that specialize in English.
In accordance with this mission, WIUT started the Communicative Language Teaching Course. It is a short summer course scheduled from 2nd July to 6th July 2012 for regional teachers of English who would like to improve their communicative teaching skills.
The first session commenced with welcome speech of WIUT rector Abdumalik Djumanov and 1st deputy rector Alan France, who wished the participants an engaging learning process. They stressed that the course is aimed at improving knowledge and skills of regional teachers, which will be another step in achieving high-quality English language teaching practices throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Communicative Language Teaching Course is led by highly experienced WIUT academic staff recognized for their record of outstanding teaching. The sessions consist of workshops, examples analysis and interactive classroom discussions.
