Subsidies to be allocated to business entities that have provided employment for owners of household plots of land through home-based work

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 November 2022, business entities, who ensured the employment of owners of household land plots through cooperation and homework, subsidies are allocated from the State Fund for the Promotion of Employment for the acquisition and subsequent transfer to owners of household land.

This is envisaged by the resolution of the President "On measures to reduce the share of informal employment and create a balance of labor resources based on modern approaches"

The subsidies will be allocated for such areas as:

birds (chickens, quails, ducks, geese, turkeys), poultry cages, feed and medicines;

seedlings of grapes and vines;

bee families, boxes for bee families and feed;

rabbits, rabbit cages and feed;

fry of fish, artificial reservoirs and feed.

At the same time, the specified subsidy is allocated on the basis of the recommendation of assistant khokims at the rate of up to 20 times the size of the basic estimated value per 1 owner of a personal plot of land.

From 1 January 2023 it is allowed:

individual entrepreneurs to perform simple general construction and repair and construction works (concrete, painting, plastering, brick and tile laying, perforation, carpentry, plumbing and other general construction works), including for legal entities;

construction and contracting organizations to attract individual entrepreneurs on a contractual basis to perform general construction work.

Wherein:

individual entrepreneurs are allowed to hire up to five employees to perform general construction work;

individual entrepreneurs engaged in general construction work and employing at least 3 employees are allocated a subsidy for the purchase of labor tools and equipment at the expense of the State Employment Promotion Fund (the amount of the subsidy per employee should not exceed 15 times the size of the basic estimated value - 4.5 million soums) .

According to the resolution, the “Employment of graduates” functionality will be introduced on the “Yoshlar Daftari” platform, through which the employment status of graduates of general secondary, vocational and higher educational institutions will be monitored for 3 years.
