Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said that the subscriber base of the company grew by 0.7% or 70,000 users in December compared to November 2011.

Consolidated number of subscribers of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC made up 100.9 million users as of the end of December 2011. In December 2011, the consolidated subscriber base of MTS grew by 0.5% or 460,000 users.

MTS Uzbekistan (Uzdunrobita) is one of the largest mobile operators in Uzbekistan. From August 2004, the operator enters to structure of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (Russia).
