Subscribers’ base of MTS-Uzbekistan grows by 2.6% in September

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of subscribers of MTS-Uzbekistan, largest mobile communication operator in Uzbekistan, made up 8.16 million users as of 30 September 2010.

Mobile TeleSystems OJSC, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and CIS, said that the subscribers’ base of the company grew by 2.6% or 210,000 compared to August.

The number of the company’s subscribers increased by 20.2% or 1.37 million users compared to the same period of 2009.

Consolidated number of subscribers of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC made up 100.56 million users as of 30 September 2010.

MTS-Uzbekistan (Uzdunrobita) is one of the largest mobile operators in Uzbekistan. From August 2004, the operator enters to structure of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (Russia).
