Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 12 to 13 September, the Yunusabad Sports Complex beneath the Tashkent TV Tower will host Sublimation Festival 2025 — one of the year’s key cultural events, designed to bridge Uzbekistan’s contemporary music scene with the global stage.

Founded by cultural strategist Madina Ishmuradova and music producer Sabina Inoyatova, the festival has, in just a few years, evolved into a platform where tradition meets the avant-garde, and local identity becomes part of the international cultural dialogue.

Organizers emphasize that Sublimation is not merely a music event but a movement that shapes a new image of the region in the eyes of the world.

This year’s central theme is inspiration. According to the founders, it symbolizes those transformative moments when creativity and ideas change lives, bring people together, and become part of a collective cultural experience. The concept will be reflected not only in the music program but also in stage design, lighting, and visual identity.

The Sublimation stage will welcome both global and local artists, including Acid Arab, Kikelomo, Basic Chanel, No Plastic, as well as Sabinē, Trace, Lola, Bu Qala, and the Youth Choir of Uzbekistan. One of the key stages will be hosted by the international music platform Boiler Room, whose live streams attract millions of viewers in more than 200 countries.

The festival will take place in an open-air format: the sports courts of the Yunusabad complex will be transformed into a multimedia space featuring several themed stages and light installations. Throughout the year, the project has enjoyed media support from Refuge Worldwide, while international outlets such as Resident Advisor, Dazed, and Mixmag will cover the event.

On 13 September, in collaboration with Resident Advisor, a closed educational conference will be held for professionals and emerging specialists in the music industry.

“Sublimation Festival is energy that inspires and unites. It is not only a cultural event but also a symbol of the transformation of Uzbekistan’s creative landscape,” the organizers noted.
