Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – According to a Resolution “On additional measures to improve the efficiency of the system of teaching foreign languages to young people”, starting from 1 October 2024, the Youth Affairs Agency will annually compile a ranking of private educational centers across the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the city of Tashkent and publish it on its official website.

The top 100 private educational centers operating in remote and hard-to-reach areas, which receive the highest scores in the ranking, will have part of their rental costs for buildings and facilities used for educational purposes reimbursed.

From 2024 to 2026, third and fourth-year students with a certificate of level C1 or higher, studying foreign language philology in higher education institutions, will be allowed to work as teachers in general secondary, secondary specialized, and vocational educational institutions.

Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, based on the needs of parents and students, German, French, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese will be taught as foreign languages in specialized and vocational schools.

By 1 January 2025, cooperation will be established with leading centers and higher education institutions worldwide for teaching English and other foreign languages, as well as modern professions. In subsequent years, their educational programs, meeting international educational standards, will be implemented in the "Ibrat Farzandlari" and "Ustoz" projects.
