Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the legislation, starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, student dormitory placements for all courses at state higher educational institutions will be conducted online.

It is envisaged by the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution “On Measures to Improve the System of Providing Housing for Students of Higher Educational Institutions.”

Students will be able to submit applications for dormitory placement annually from 1 August until the end of the academic year.

As such, students can begin applying for dormitory placement starting from 1 August of this year.

To apply, students should either visit government service centers in person or submit their applications online through the Unified Portal of Interactive State Services (my.gov.uz).

There is no fee for this state service.

Certain categories of students will be given priority for dormitory placement.
