Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Museum of the History of Applied Arts and Crafts is hosting an event organized by the Cultural Heritage Agency jointly with members of the Italian association Asso Restavro, ITA (Italian Trade Agency) and the Italian Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The event was opened by the Director of the Cultural Heritage Agency Shakhriyor Nurullayev, who told the guests about the reforms in the field of cultural heritage being carried out in our country, that a step had been taken towards a new stage in the preservation and protection of our material values.

The purpose of organizing the seminar was to implement the first stage of the project of cooperation between well-known Italian restoration organizations for the restoration and repair of cultural heritage sites in Uzbekistan.

According to him, the Italian side will inspect the objects of material cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the cities of Samarkand and Bukhara and joint restoration and repair work will be carried out at the selected objects.
