Prakash Kejrival, senior manager of INDORAMA GROUP, underlined that the Singaporean firm is planning to expand its activity in Uzbekistan and invest significant resources to textile and oil-chemical industries of Uzbekistan.
The Uzbek side presented information to INDORAMA GROUP about created favourable investment climate for investors.
It was noted that textile industry of Uzbekistan have great potential and the country possesses all necessary resources for production of textile goods. The Uzbek side presented several projects in above-mentioned industries to INDORAMA GROUP.
Prakash Kejrival expressed gratitude to the State Property Committee and hope for firm and fruitful cooperation in the future.
INDORAMA GROUP was created in 1976 in Singapore and it is one of the leading producers of polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester and cotton year. The company produces 2.66 million tonnes of polyester and 81,500 tonnes of cotton year a year. In 2008, the company turnover made up US$3.7 billion.
