Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to improve the quality of services in the field of tourism, create conditions for cultural recreation, showcase the image of prominent historical figures and familiarize tourists with the traditions and customs of Uzbekistan, starting from 14 April at the State Museum-Reserve “Ichan-Kala” theatrical performances from the leading Khorezm theater “The Great Silk Road” was orgainzed.

In the Ancient Arc complex, over 50 talented theater artists represent images of khans, poets, philosophers and thinkers who lived and worked in historical Khorezm.

The performances recreated scenes with the image of Mohammad Rahimhon Feruz and his oath to the people, “Khan’s Festival” with the participation of folklore and ethnographic ensembles, live performance of Khorezmian folk songs, lazgi dances and other performances.

Theatrical performances, organized jointly with the Khorezm regional khokimiyat, the Department of Tourism Development of Khorezm Region, the Directorate of the State Museum-Reserve "Ichan-Kala", the Khiva Puppet Theater, will now every day delight residents and guests of the historic city.
