The document is directed at improving level and quality of training of specialists in culture and art sphere, which meet modern requirements of theatre, cinema, television, folk art, etc.
The resolution said that the State Institute of Art and Cultures founded on the base of Tashkent State Institute of Culture and State Institute of Art of Uzbekistan.
Main goals of the State Institute of Art and Cultures are to train high skilled specialists in culture, theatre, cinema and television, preserve and develop national art and cultural values, improve education process and introduction of modern technologies to education process, etc.
Uzbek President set the quota for accepting students for 2012/2013 academic year. The document said that some 297 people will be accepted to Bachelor degree (96 on grants and 201 on contracts) and 40 people to Master degree (11 on grants and 29 on contracts).
