State Demonopolization Committee said it received application from Essen Production AG on use of Makeev trade mark by Raferti LLC, which is close to its trade mark Maheev, which is registered in Uzbekistan and protected by the laws of Uzbekistan.

The committee said that both firms produce same product - mayonnaise - and they are competitors in food market.

In the result of consideration of the case, the committee’s commission acknowledged that Raferti LLC violated law “On competition” and issued order on elimination of violation.
