State budget surplus makes up 29.2bn soums in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Surplus of the State Budget of Uzbekistan made up 29.2 billion soums in the first quarter of 2016, the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan said.

According to the Ministry, the income of the state budget exceeded 8.64 trillion soums in January-March 2016, while expenses – 8.61 trillion soums.

About 4.33 trillion soums of income fell to share of indirect taxes, 2.21 trillion soums – direct investments and 1.14 trillion soums – resource payment and property taxes.

Expenses to social sphere and social support of population reached 5.067 trillion soums.
