Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Spotify, which started work in Uzbekistan in early 2021, published a ranking of the most streamed artists, songs, genres and playlists in Uzbekistan for February-May.

The world’s largest audio streaming service Spotify launched in Uzbekistan with the mission of enabling local creators to tap into Spotify’s vast global audience, and helping fans gain access to their favorite artists, Spotify said.

According to the ranking, share with Spotify, the most played local artist is Shoxrux, who also has two tracks on the list over most played local songs. The top three local artists Shoxrux, Shohruhxon and Shahzoda all have the most listeners in Russia, USA and Turkey. 

The users of Spotify also listen to music of BTS, JONY, Scriptonite, MORGENSHTERN and others. Pop, Russian Hip Hop and Dance Pop were among top genres in Uzbekistan.
