Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 2 July, a ceremony was held in Tashkent to send off the Uzbekistan sports delegation to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Cycling Federation, also participated in the ceremony and wished the participants success at the Summer Olympic Games.

It was noted that our athletes have achieved outstanding results today through their hard work with coaches, overcoming strong opponents in intense competitions to secure Olympic qualifications and become true sports leaders.

In this year’s Olympic Games, Uzbekistan’s delegation will feature the largest number of female athletes in its history. This reflects the special attention given to women’s sports in our country.

Participants expressed confidence that our athletes will also achieve podium positions at these Summer Olympic Games, contributing to the pride of our nation with our flag flying high and our anthem playing.
