Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A special industrial zone titled "Two Regions - One Park" will be established in the Tashkent region with the participation of Chinese investors, as reported by the regional khokimiyat.
The project is being undertaken by China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp and BSM Group Limited.
Construction is set to begin in the first quarter of 2025 at the industrial technopark in Chirchik, with project documentation currently in development.
The initiative will host around 20 new enterprises in the technopark, focusing on the production of electrical equipment, textiles, construction materials, special machinery, and pharmaceutical products.
The first batch of products is expected to be released in 2026.
The total volume of foreign investments attracted during the first and second phases of the project will exceed US$200 million.
