Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 21–22 May, for the first time, the annual GSMA M360 Eurasia conference will be held in Tashkent at the InterContinental Tashkent Hotel.

The event is organized by the GSMA in partnership with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies, with Beeline Uzbekistan — a subsidiary of VEON — serving as the conference’s main sponsor.

GSMA has officially announced the lineup of speakers, who include government officials and business leaders set to discuss the future of digital technology across Eurasia.

Opening remarks will be delivered by Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan; Kaan Terzioğlu, CEO of VEON; and Andrey Pyatakhin, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan. They will highlight how the exchange of ideas, technologies, and best practices across countries can accelerate digital transformation in the region. The event will also mark the first official public address by Vivek Badrinath in his new role as Director General of the GSMA.

The two-day agenda features sessions on generative AI, 5G, mobile ecosystem development, and cross-industry innovation. Confirmed speakers include Zarina Zeynalova, CEO of Azercell (Azerbaijan); Dmitry Shukov, CEO of Perfectum (Uzbekistan); and Alexey Sharavar, CEO of Qazqode (Kazakhstan), among others.

Dedicated sessions will also explore the critical role of data centers in ensuring reliable and secure connectivity, as well as emerging digital solutions and partnerships aimed at expanding internet access across the region.

The GSMA M360 series brings together leaders of the digital ecosystem in countries around the world. The first GSMA MWC event of the year was MWC25 Barcelona, while MWC25 Shanghai will take place on June 18–20, 2025.

MWC25 Doha will debut in Qatar on November 25–26, 2025, and is expected to be a landmark event uniting industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to advance next-generation digital societies in the Middle East and beyond.
