During the visit, it is planned that the sides will discuss current affairs and perspectives of the development of the Uzbek-Spanish relations, cooperation in Uzbekistan- EU format, presidency of Spain in the EU in the first half of 2010. They will also exchange opinion on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

It is expected that business forum with the participation of business circles of Uzbekistan and Spain will take place in Tashkent within the visit of Spanish foreign minister.

Uzbektourism national company and Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce of Spain will sign memorandum of cooperation in tourism within the tour of the Spanish official to Uzbekistan, the Uzbek ministry said.
