Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The national teams of Spain and Italy have advanced to the Euro 2024 playoffs.

Spain secured their spot by defeating Albania with a narrow 1-0 victory. The only goal of the match was scored by forward Ferran Torres in the 13th minute, sealing Spain’s win.

Italy, on the other hand, drew with Croatia in the 3rd round of the group stage of Euro 2024.

In the 54th minute, Luka Modrić missed a penalty but managed to score from open play a minute later, giving Croatia the lead. In injury time, defender Mattia Zaccagni equalized, ending the match at 1-1.

After three rounds of the Euro 2024 group stage, Spain topped Group B with 9 points.

Italy, with 4 points, secured second place and also advanced to the playoffs.

Croatia finished third with 2 points, while Albania remained in fourth place with 1 point.
