Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The South Korean company Ecofarm Global intends to implement several major projects in the Namangan region amounting to US$55 million.
On October 19, the Governor of the Namangan region, Shavkat Abdurazzakov, met with a delegation led by the company’s head, Lim Sang Hwan.
As part of the cooperation, it is planned to construct a caravanserai along the A-373 road in the Chust district, which will include a shopping center, restaurant, and recreation area.
The complex, covering 7 hectares, will be able to accommodate up to 100,000 passengers annually, with its launch scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
In addition, Ecofarm Global will establish a logistics center in the Namangan Free Economic Zone, featuring refrigerated warehouses with a capacity of 100,000 tons of products and a customs terminal.
The first phase of the complex is set to open by the end of 2025, with the second phase expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
