Particular attention has been drawn to talks with South Korean firm Iz Leather.
Iz Leather, based in Gyeonggi Province, specializes in the production of leather goods and accessories.
During discussions with Uzbek company Hamkor Nur Savdo LLC, both parties explored the export of finished Uzbek leather for further processing and resale in the Korean market under an OEM model. The leather supplied by Hamkor Nur Savdo is currently undergoing trial testing, which includes assessments of quality, tanning technology, aesthetic attributes, and compliance with market standards. This stage is viewed as the first step toward a potential export contract.
In addition, the Uzbek delegation held productive negotiations with several leading Chinese companies. Talks with Dongguan Liangqiang Machines Co., Ltd focused on the supply of automated equipment and prospects for localized production. Consultations with Guangdong Ruizhou Technology Co., Ltd centered on the implementation of CAD/CAM systems and the establishment of a technological partnership.
