The sides exchanged opinion on potential of cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Africa. The special attention was paid to construction of gas-to-liquid (GTL) plant based on technologies of South African SASOL.

The parties also discussed issues of possible attraction of SASOL experience in processing coal in Uzbekistan and creation of high-technologic production in Navoi free industrial and economic zone.

It was noted that currently serious volume of work was done of the project and it could be realized in accelerated regime. The sides agreed to review existing opportunities on speeding up project implementation.
