The organizers of the Art Week Style.uz 2012 said that music of Sophie Michelle Ellis-Bextor is successful mixture of ultra fashion dance rhythms and music of 1980s.

The concert will be held at the Youth Creative Palace in Tashkent. The organizers said that 550 tickets to concerts of Sophie Michelle Ellis-Bextor, as well as Chris Boti (to be held on 26 September) and Demis Roussos (9 October) will be distributed among young talents for free of charge.

Sophie Michelle Ellis-Bextor was born 10 April 1979. She first came to prominence in the late 1990s, as the lead singer of the indie rock band Theaudience. After the group disbanded, Ellis-Bextor went solo, achieving widespread success in the early 2000s. Her music is a mixture of mainstream pop, disco, nu-disco, and 1980s electronic influences.
