According to data of the working group, the plan on income of the local budget of Khorezm region in 2012 was executed with 2.5% surplus and 3% surplus in the first six months of 2013. This helped to ensure timely financing of expenses of local budget.

The group revealed several violations on implementation of the law “On budget system”. It was said that the draft state budget for next year was submitted, some organizations did not submit budget requests.

The meeting said that inspection of the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan showed that organization of public education, healthcare and higher and secondary education illegally used the budget resources.

The participants recommended to raise responsibility of local bodies on execution of income part of the budget and optimization of expenses of Khorezm region. It was recommended to adopt measures on strengthening budget discipline in the region.

At the meeting, the participants shared their recommendations on considered issues and improving corresponding legislation. The committee adopted a decision on the considered issue.
