According to official data, 506 of them are tourism organizations and 359 of them are hotels.

In 2011 and eight months of 2012, 80 organizations became new entities of tourism market of Uzbekistan, a press release, posted at Jahon news agency, said.

According to State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan has hotels with total capacity of 19,000 places. In last five years, some 160 middle and small private hotels with the capacity of 4,500 places were launched in Uzbekistan.

The release said that the volume of tourism services in Uzbekistan grew by 34 times in last 21 years.

Large number of foreign tourists arrives in Uzbekistan from Great Britain, Germany, Italy, India, China, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, France, Japan and South Korea.
