Some 71 objects were privatized in Uzbekistan in Jan-Sep
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the process of decentralization and privatization, according to the data of State Property Committee of Uzbekistan, 71 enterprises and objects (including program and non-program objects) were privatized in nine months of 2011.

The greatest number of objects was privatized in the city of Tashkent (36 objects), Tashkent region (8 objects), Namangan region (5 objects), Navoi region and Syrdarya region (4 objects per each).

In the structure of privatized state property the highest share falls upon objects of local authorities – 61 objects, the State Statistics Committee said.

Receipts of money from privatization and decentralization amounted to 27.2 billion soums in January-September 2011.

The most part of receipts received from decentralization and privatization was marked in Tashkent city (48.9% of total receipts), Ferghana region (17.7%), Namangan region (12.9%), Tashkent region (9.6%), and Karakalpakstan (2.4%).
