The charitable events were attended over 500 people, including war veterans, retired residents and members of low-income and large families.

Overall 6,000 persons attended the campaigns and 500 people – hashars (volunteerism-based cleanup) across Uzbekistan. Some 800 potential participants of the programme “Grants for development of small and medium business, as well as farming” of Mehr Nuri Foundation.

Local residents, members of Kelajak Ovozi Youth Initiatives Center and students organized a hashar at Hazrati Imom Complex in Tashkent on 14 August 2012. They cleaned around complex and removed garbage.

In the evening, some 500 people were treated with food at the event, organized in Islam Institute of Al Bukhari.
