Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Commercial banks in Uzbekistan have issued 49.59 million banking cards as of 1 May 2024, according to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

The leader in the number of cards issued is People’s Bank, which has issued 11.3 million. It is followed by Agrobank with 4.8 million cards and Ipoteka Bank with 4.3 million cards.

The banks with the fewest cards issued are Uzum Bank (61 cards), Sederat Bank Toshkent (1,955 cards), and Yangi Bank (2,344 cards).

In terms of the number of installed payment terminals, People’s Bank leads with 46.08 thousand terminals, followed by the National Bank of Uzbekistan with 40.16 thousand terminals, and Ipoteka Bank with 39.57 thousand terminals. In total, there are 426,313 payment terminals installed in the country.

The number of ATMs in Uzbekistan is 27,227. People’s Bank ranks first with 3,132 ATMs, followed by Agrobank with 2,158 ATMs and Kapitalbank with 1.6 thousand ATMs.

The volume of transactions through payment terminals from January to May amounted to 127.07 trillion soums.
