Some 344 women undergo medical examination in Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Association “In the name of Life!” is continuing to hold free diagnosis of women for breast cancer at organizations, which assisted to hold the third Charity Forum-Marathon “In the name of Life!”.

After examining employees of Beeline, doctors of the Association visited Ferghana city on 4-5 June and they examined some 344 women of Ferghana Refinery, which also assisted in organization of the marathon.

Later, doctors are planning to visit Jizzakh to examine women soldiers and spouses of servicemen of Uzbekistan Defence Ministry.

Mammalogy doctors examined 344 women and oncology-gynaecologists – 228 women. Some 135 women underwent ultrasound diagnosis. The examination revealed 37 cases of initial stage of breast cancer and one case of breast cancer. Doctors prescribed necessary treatment to all 38 women.

Association “In the name of Life!” is planning to hold free diagnosis of women in Jizzakh region (14-16 June), Bukhara (18-20 June) and Ferghana (27-29 June).

In autumn, it is planned to hold annual free diagnosis in all regions of Uzbekistan. In last three years, some 15,500 women underwent examination.
