Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 January 2023, 15,801 enterprises and organizations with foreign capital operate in Uzbekistan, the Statistical Agency said. 

Their number increased by 2,512 compared to the corresponding period last year, with the following countries accounting for the largest number:

Russia – 3,156

Turkey – 2,204

China - 2,141

Kazakhstan - 1,258

South Korea - 930

In addition, the number of newly created enterprises with the participation of foreign capital in 2022 was reflected in the following form:

Russia - 967

Turkey - 369

China - 275

Kazakhstan - 195

South Korea - 92
