Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Public Services Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan presented the most popular names of newborns in 2023.

According to the agency, the most popular names among girls were Soliha, Muslima, Yasmina, Khadicha and Imona.

While among boys the leading names are Muhammadali, Mustafo, Abdulloh, Muhammad and Muhammadyusuf.

In 2023, 968,140 newborns were registered in Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that the names Soliha and Muhammadali were also popular in 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019.
