Solar photovoltaic plant in Navoi generated 252 million kWh of electricity

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first large solar photovoltaic plant in Navoi generated 252 million kWh of electricity in the first year of operation. This was stated by the Ministry of Energy.

On 27 August 2021, the first large solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 100 MW was launched in Karmana district of Navoi region.

The station generates more than 1 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per day.

In general, with the moments of entering the mail, this FES generated 252 million kWh of electricity.

The first industrial solar power plant provides electricity for 80,000 households.

The construction of the complex began in 2020. Investments worth US$110 million have been disbursed and 300,000 facade panels have been installed.

The project, called "Nur Navoi Sola", implemented by Masdar, was discovered in the United Arab Emirates.
